Once upon a time, at a certain point in space,

I don´t know when, I don´t know that place.

But it´s somewhere there and sometime then,

And it's happening behind an old creased courtain.

Once upon a time, at a certain point in space,

There is a cat, with a cheerful little face.

Maybe not so cheerful, as she's going to die,

Not to worry thought, she is just fine.

Hundreds of heads, hundreds of minds,

Eager for some knowldge, or desperate for pints?

Listening to an Austrian telling them jokes,

About a cat in a box dying as it chokes.

Let's not get sensitive, let's not get sad.

This Austrian doctor, he is not mad.

The cat has to die, so they could see,

How absurd a small world could possibly be.

The cat has to live, so they understand,

How perception of reality could easily be bent.

Relax, exhale, no drama is taking place.

It's happening behind his old wrinkled face,

In a world of ideas, ever misty maze,

Away from dimensions, away from time and space.

...or at least I guess that's the case.
